The Facts You Need, Before the Work Begins.
We offer the option of carrying out a survey and report only service.
Identifying any issues which need to be addressed, fully independent of any work that may be required. The report can then be used as a point of reference to have the work carried out by others if required or preferred. It is always recommended to use suitably experienced and qualified tradesmen with experience in damp remedial works, as the smallest mistake can lead to the problem reoccurring.
As much information is gathered about the property as possible before we attend site. The issues you are having, any previous works carried out, any historic guarantees, any permissions and/or restrictions, the size and scope of the survey etc. The cost is agreed, and a date is set.
When Craig arrives on site, he takes a holistic approach to the whole property, location, orientation, condition, age, construction, weather at the time of survey, and then starts the investigation. Top to bottom, outside and in, under, over and around. His findings and recommendations are then transferred to a report including photographs as evidence.
The report will be in plain English, as clear as possible, in a format you will be able to understand. Any queries or uncertainties will be addressed, always verbally and then confirmed in writing.
We will inform you of what we recommend is done and in which order and why. It will be then up to you to employ suitably experienced and qualified tradesmen to carry out any remedial work required, and for them to guarantee their work.
The survey fee will vary depending on the scope of the survey, the size, condition and location of the property.
Please call our team to book, or for more information. Alternatively fill out our survey request form and we will be in touch.
